Harry Potter & The Sorcerer’s Stone

The first movie where the journey of Harry Potter begins, Harry Potter & the Sorcerer’s stone unfolds the secret behind spells and magic of wizardry. Harry Potter the lead character of the movie unknowingly traces his roots upon entering Hogwarts School of witchcraft & wizardry. This extraordinary school govern by Albus Dumbledore provides learning for would be wizards the art of witchcraft & wizardry wherein each and every aspiring wizards have their own wands for them to become skilled wizards. In this film, it features magical enchantment for the viewers, first time you will hear and see the famous game in Hogwarts School which is the Quid ditch wherein the players are riding in their broomstick and up in the sky they soar like a bird, instantly Harry Potter became the youngest seeker in the team. An eye catching feature in this movie is the huge hall wherein the students gather together in which mouthwatering & sumptuous food is set in each long table, lighted candles floating in the air, moving picture frames , & the castle’s stairs with no fix direction these are the only few must see spells in the film.

However, above splendid and brilliant spells in the film, is always a dark side of it and that’s why Harry Potter and his co-Griffindor friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger withstand their will to unveil the puzzled events in the world of witchcraft & wizardry the saga between good and evil begins… what lies beneath the spells that became celebrated movie of the century. – harrypotterplace.info

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Harry Potter is in his second year at Hogwarts School of witchcraft & wizardry, Dobby an house-elf visited & warned him not go back at Hogwarts because terrible things might happen to him. Harry ignores his warning and still return to Hogwarts. And astonishing flying car helps Harry to escape from his Uncle’s house, of course, with the help of his friends Ron & Ron’s twin brother, Fred & George Weasley. Upon coming back to Hogwarts, gradually Harry potter unravel the mystery that wraps in the famous castle, wherein strange things starting to happen, some students were petrified and no one knows whose doing it, while Harry is hearing strange voice which seems coming within the walls.

According to legend, the founders of Hogwarts School namely Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin, a hidden chamber in the castle can only be open to the only heir of Salazar Slytherin whom among the four founders believes that the only pure-blooded wizards should be the one to enter at Hogwarts to learn exclusively the art of witchcraft and wizardry. Now, Harry Potter without his knowledge is a parselmouth which he can talk to snakes, the same ability that Tom Riddle/Voldemort possessed.

In this second film of Harry Potter, moviegoers will wonder the similarities between Harry Potter & Lord Voldemort in terms of determination, resourcefulness & power because Voldemort unintentionally transferred his power to Harry Potter when he tries to kill him when he was still a baby. They may have common ability but it proves that Harry Potter choose what he believes is right and just, For him only Albus Dumbledore is the greatest sorcerer in the world of magic.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Even there’s no place to go home to, Harry Potter decided to leave his muggle relatives. He runs away from them and leaving his Uncle whom never treated him fairly. A beyond belief night bus rescues Harry when he was stranded in the street. Now, facing trouble and hardships in life, Harry potter heard news that a notorious criminal Sirius Black escape from the wizard’s prison at Azkaban and apparently looking for him. While the dementors, one of the gods of Azkaban, are the one’s searching for trails of Sirius Black.

But the question is, Is Sirius Black an enemy in the dark side that Harry Potter believes that he is the one betrays his parents and the reason for their untimely death. In this film, it features many spells of witchcraft in the form of transfiguration. An amazing castle map in the hands of Harry Potter, it features moving footprints that traces exact location of a particular person in the castle. Harry Potter & Hermione went into some kind of time-tunnel wherein they go back in the time for them to change something that might not happened and that it’s not too late for them to free an innocent man.

Harry Potter discovers the truth behind the mystery of the prisoner of Azkaban and finally he find out what significance of that person to him.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

The fourth movie of Harry Potter, as the tale continuous, for the first time the students of Hogwarts and including Harry Potter watch the Quidditch World Cup tournament , this competition are joined by the top players of different countries , A gigantic field that can almost accommodate everybody to witness whose team is the best in the world. Apparently , it is also a tradition once a year, a Triwizard tournament is held, three different schools are competing wherein only ages 17 and above are the ones qualify for the contest because their proficiency and expertise in the art of witchcraft and wizardry is adequate for them to obtain the task assigned to them. The goblet of fire will select the names task, there’s nothing he can do but to compete inspite the challenges involve are not that easy, anybody can die in the tournament.

Another fascinating feature in the movie is the Yule ball a dance party students at Hogwarts parade their best dress for the evening. Momentarily, Triwizard tournamnent begins, the first objective is to get the egg of the dragon to qualify for the next task, second is to get the treasure beneath the waters of Black Lake and lastly a mind boggling maze that is difficult to surpass where the things you might see is not really true, the first player who finds the cup wins the game. Unknown to Harry Potter a tragic event will occur because the dark side Voldemort will do anything to conquer and rule the world of witchcraft and wizardry and his main target who else it can be but the famous Harry Potter.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

It seems that Harry Potter fifth movie undoubtedly answers the questions that bothers the moviegoers as they waited and watch an extra-ordinary film of the century.

With Harry Potter’s return to Hogwarts, it comes in his realization that Voldemort is back and he’s back to finish what he left undone fourteen years ago. And this time, Voldemort is in the move to assemble his own army, to seek greater strength and power to rule the world of witchraft and wizardry. While Harry Potter still thinks the untimely death of his colleague,Cedric Driggory who was murdered by Voldemort. Harry is now facing charges by using his power outside school at an early age in the presence of a muggle according to the Mysteries Department this is a ground for expell. However, Harry Potter stands that he only do that because Dementors is attacking them but the minister didn’t believe him instead they oppose that Voldemort is back.

Dumbledore, the headmaster of Hogwarts, trust Harry Potter and he also believes that there is someone behind this incident.Apparently, the order of the phoenix is somewhat a secret society, a headquarter where Harry Potter and his friends finally discover. Unfortunately, the ministers from the Mysteries department are starting to interfere Hogwarts school, new rules have been implemented as in they taking over the entire school. Is Hogwarts no longer safe haven for those who wanted to become trained wizards? Will Voldemort and his dark armies will soon reign the world of magic? Or the power of friendship and quintessence of love that Harry Potter possessed is the ultimate weapon that can defeat the evil forces of Voldemort?

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

If you really care about Harry Potter, Ron & Ginny Weasley and Hermione Granger as living, breathing characters then you’re going to love Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

Disclosure: I’ve only ever read the first book and while I’ve thought the previous films were “OK,” I’ve never been a huge fan of the series. This latest film was directed by David Yates, the same fellow who directed the previous film Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix – and for perspective, I don’t even remember was that one was about.

Having said that, I believe this latest installment is arguably the best Harry Potter film that’s been released so far.
