Harry Potter Characters

HARRY POTTER

Harry James Potter is the titular character and the protagonist in the Harry Potter series. A lonely orphan and on his 11th birthday he finds out that he is a wizard. He attends Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry to learn magic, under the guidance of the kind headmaster Albus Dumbledore. Harry discovers that he is already famous throughout the wizardry world and that his fate is tied with that of Lord Voldemort who killed Harry’s parents.

Harry is described as having his father’s perpetually untidy black hair, his mother’s bright green eyes and carries a lightning bolt-shaped scar on his forehead, it is almost like being the chosen one, Harry’s glass are the clue to his vulnerability. He is a gifted wizard apprentice, his parents left behind a somewhat large pile of wizard’s gold, used as a currency in the world of magic. Harry also inherits indirectly two of this father’s possession the Maraudder’s map and invisibility cloak. He also has a pet owl Hedwig.

HERMIONE GRANGER

Hermione Jean Granger is the extremely smart and clever bestfriend of Harry and Ron.  She is a muggle-born tends to be the rational and realistic one of the group. Her parents are dentists, she is a perfectionist and an over achiever, she had a bossy sort of voice, lots of bushy brown hair and rather large front teeth.

RON WEASLEY

Bestfriend of Harry Potter & Hermione Granger.  He is tall, thin with freckles on his face, big hands and feet and a long nose. His trademark is his red hair. He is one of the central characters in the Harry Potter series. While Harry Potter is an orphan with more gold than he needs, Ron comes from a large and loving but poor family.

GINNY WEASLEY

Ginevra Molly Weasley is apure blooded witch, she was often describe as a small girl, taking after her mother and brothers, she has vivid red hair that she wore long, she has bright brown eyes and considered to be attractive and garnered a lot of attentions from boys when she was at school. She was a foreceful, independent girl, she had a energetic lively personality. Simply put, Harry Potter is the love of Ginny’s life, rekindled their romance and were eventually married.

NEVILLE LONGBOTTOM

Is a pure bloodwizard, his parents were well respected, shortly after his birth, his parents were tortured into insanity leaving him to be raised by his grandmother, throughout his school years, he grow from a shy, introverted boy into a courageous defender of Hogwarts.

OLIVER WOOD

Is the Gryffindor Quidditch Captain, playing Quidditch is his life and he plays a keeper. He is also a sexy hunk of a man.

MOANING MYRTLE

A witch born to a muggle parents. While at Hogwarts she was to make any friends and would constantly be teased and bullied by her fellow students. She was killed in 1943 by Slytherin’s Basilisk under Tom Riddle’s oders. Now she is a ghost who haunts the second floor girl’s bathroom at Hogwarts.

LUNA LOVEGOOD

She was born in 1981, her father is a magazine editor  and her mother died in a spell experiment, leaving her to be raised by her father. She witnessed her mother’s death, enabling her to see and believed that she would see her again after death, some students make fun of her because of her eccentricities.

CHO CHANG

She was born into a wizarding family who are of Asian descent, Harry Potter once had a crush on her, eventhough she was friendly to him she did not return his romantic feelings. She was very popular ar school, she had an entire group of Ravenclaw friends who were constantly giggling and gossiping. Being a quidditch star and very pretty, she was the center of the group.

CEDRIC DIGGORY

He was a perfect and captained of the Quidditch team playing as a seeker in the house of Hufflepuff. He compete in the Triwizard tournament but unfortunately he was murdered in the orders of Lord Voldemort. Physically, he was a tall and extremely handsome young man with chiseled features, fine brown hair and bright grey eye, he was well built and burly. He has a sense of fair play and modest.

DRACO MALFOY

Is a pure blood wizard. He was sorted into Slytherin house and was Harry’s arch enemy at Hogwarts. The only child of Lucius and Narcisa Malfoy who were both born into old, wealthy family. Draco, in general, is an arrogant, elistist bully. He believed himself superior to most people, he offended mostly the muggleborns so called blood traitors. For much of his youth, he took his father aristocratic snob and boasted his family’s influence and wealth. Physically, he is tall and slender with sleek, silverish blonde hair and cold grey eyes.

VINCENT CRABBE

Was born into pure blood Crabbe family, his father was a death-eater. This likely influenced him to prejudice against muggle borns and other none-pure bloods. Crabbe is large and very fat with a thick neck, has gorilla like arms, a flat nose and wears a pudding baby style haircut. He is very mean and very stupid.

ALBUS DUMBLEDORE

Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore is his whole name, he was a half blood wizard, the headmaster of Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, he was considered to be the most powerful wizard of this time. It was through him that resistance to the rise of Lord Voldemort was formed. He had a keen mind and legendary power, he was the only wizard that Voldemort ever feared. He belong in the house of Gryffindor the same with Harry Potter. In history, he became perfect and considered the most brilliant student to have attended the school.  He was tall and thin with long silver hair and a long beard, he had brilliant blue eyes which usually twinkled with kindness and mischief, he was benevolent and eccentric. He shared numerous examples of extraordinary powers. His abilities as a wizard were combined with a kind of cunning and subtlety of mind that allowed him to comprehend human nature and turn the better aspect of humanity (trust, love and friendship) to Voldemot’s disadvantage in particular.

SERVERUS SNAPE

Is a potions master, defense against the dark arts professor. He played an important role in the war against Voldemort. He was a half-blood wizard. He fell deeply in love with Lily (the mother of Harry Potter) at a very young age. He became the immediate enemy of Harry Potter because Jame Potter and Sirius Black back then frequently he is the victim of their bullying. Albus Dumbledore trusted Serverus for reasons no one could seem to figure out. Apparently he is the half blood prince. He is a thin man with sallow skin and large hook nose. He had shoulder length greasy black hair which framed his face in curtains. His cold black eyes resembled black tunnels. He preferred to wear black, flowing robes, giving him an appearance of a bat. He had a tendency to hold grudges to those he disliked and he took full advantage  of his power expecting complete respect from his students.
